And then came the fateful day....

The first appearance of Allison and Carrie.  Or in these early versions, Carrie and Allyson.  I'd decided that there was only so much I could really do with a set of random characters and random gags, so I decided to introduce two crossdressing roomies to help liven things up.

Unfortunately, this introduction was not to be.  I had turned it into the editors for the January 1993 strip, when both Tere and Linda asked me to do something a little...special.  This strip was going to be eventually used for the August 1993 strip, but the August 1993 newsletter never appeared due to a shakeup in the group.

I didn't think I'd ever see this strip ever again, and even forgot all about it till I hit the Institute of Texan Cultures.  Not only did I find all the other "missing" episodes, but only as the newsletters "master" copy.  I found this episode's ORIGINAL ART, pasted up for the August 1993 newsletter-to-be.  Instead of trying to take the art out of the archives and claim sole ownership of it, I wisely just asked for a copy, lest security gun me down.
